Sparky 1998 and Murray 1999

 

For other photos of Strauss-Vilmont family pets of the late 1990s, see Kate, Flower and Bun-Bun photos.  Sparky's photo didn't want to align with the frame, kinda like Sparky didn't align too well with most situations, but he was a rescue dog.  One who perhaps never could be fully rescued.  Murray was a different animal.  A character also, but funny in a mild weird way and ha-ha funny in his unique way.

Happy 70th birthday Glenn Farrell King

Here's a photo of Glenn I took in 2002, when he lived at Mt. View Lodge in Ozark:


He's living at a place called Van Buren Health and Rehab now, in Van Buren, Arkansas.  Less active physically and verbally than he was when this photo was taken, but that's probably a good thing, and he's not at all unhappy with his situation.  In fact when I visited him on his birthday he mentioned being happy living where he is now.  He and I share that trait, although not many people would choose to live where either of us live.
